Organization Description
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (UBR) is a federal agency under the Department of the Interior in the United States. The agency is responsible for managing, developing, and protecting water and related resources in the western part of the country. UBR oversees over 600 dams and reservoirs, providing water to more than 31 million people and supporting irrigation for over 10 million acres of farmland. Additionally, the agency is involved in hydroelectric power generation, water conservation, and environmental restoration projects.
